Making every move go as smoothly as possible
Moving to another country is a fun, but also exciting change. I have lived and worked abroad for many years and know from my own experience how radical it can be to settle in a foreign country, with or without a family. The countless questions you have, the problems you encounter, the things you have to organise. I went through that process four times when I moved to Dubai, Aruba, Barcelona and London. At the time, I had no one to guide me. That's why I realise how nice it is to be able to call on someone with experience, who understands exactly what you have to arrange and what you have to think about.
After my international career, I worked for more than ten years at KPMG Meijburg & Co as a consultant for international secondments. Thanks to this knowledge, I know what is needed to make every move as smooth as possible for the families. I can respond quickly and directly to questions from expats and HR professionals. This short line of communication and direct approach is crucial and makes the difference between a distant telephone line and a true confidant who is and remains involved. I get energy from my job. Accommodation
Finding a new home is one of the most important points when moving to the Netherlands. I cooperate with a large number of real estate dealers and brokers, know the best places in the Randstad to live and can find housing in all price ranges, for short or long periods of time.
Education
Moving to the Netherlands with a family also means finding a school for children. This is an important part of the relocation process. We advise on the various international and local schools.
Guided Tour
Employees from abroad who come to live in our country are faced with the choice of where to settle their families. I help them with that. I discuss the cost of living in the Netherlands, I show the expat the city or region where they want to settle and tell them what they can expect there.
Immigration
Top One Relocation works with several immigration providers who can assist in the permit application process for clients with non-EU nationalities. Our immigration partner also assists with the application of the 30% ruling.
Departure
When the expat's secondment period is over, I make sure that all practical matters are dealt with quickly and correctly.
